Equality Health Foundation: Healthy Mama Festival

This free event is focused on health and wellness education for all mothers, soon-to-be mothers, and their children. Event attendees can participate in a variety of maternal health educational activities. Medical screenings, including free immunizations, vaccines, and flu shots, will be available, as will OB/GYN meet-and-greets, the March of Dimes Baby Mobile Health Center, and more.

Maternal health continues to be a struggle in this country. The statistics on maternal deaths are staggering amongst mothers in diverse, underserved populations. Equality Health Foundation in collaboration with March of Dimes seeks to draw attention, resources, and change to this issue. Together, we can help end preventable infant and maternal health risks and death, preterm birth, and close the health equity gap for all families.
