Quarterly Member Meeting: The Future of Arts & Culture in Downtown Phoenix

Quarterly Member Meeting: The Future of Arts & Culture in Downtown Phoenix

Every world-class city is defined by its arts and culture.

The theaters, museums, and cultural institutions that line our streets don't just entertain, they shape our identity, drive our economy, and tell the world who we are. They're the reason talent moves here, visitors return, and residents fall in love with this city over and over again.

But behind the curtain, many of Downtown Phoenix's most vital arts and culture organizations are facing real, urgent challenges, from funding pressures and shifting audiences to operational sustainability. These aren't just arts issues. They're business issues. And the Downtown community has a role to play.

Join us on Thursday, March 26 for PCA's first Quarterly Member Meeting of the year as we bring together leaders from across Downtown to have an honest, high-level conversation about the state of arts and culture in our city, and what it will take to ensure these institutions don't just survive, but thrive.

Hosted at the Children's Museum of Phoenix, one of Downtown's most beloved cultural anchors, this meeting will feature perspectives from leaders across performing arts, museums, and public art, with a focus on the challenges facing major and mid-size institutions and the opportunities for the broader business community to step up.

What to expect:

  • A celebration of the momentum and wins in Downtown's public art landscape
  • A candid panel discussion on the real challenges facing our performing arts organizations and museums
  • A conversation about what business leaders, developers, and civic partners can do to strengthen the cultural fabric of Downtown Phoenix

This isn't a routine update. This is a conversation about the kind of city we want to be, and whether we're willing to invest in what makes Phoenix extraordinary.
