People want to know what's going on in the Warehouse District! Do you? \ud83e\udd1d \ud83d\udca1 \n\nOn Wednesday, a superb turnout of engaged residents, stakeholders, and business owners attended the monthly Warehouse District Council (@phx_wd) meeting to learn what's driving their community's gradual transformation.\n\nMuch of the meeting underscored how much the South Central Extension of light rail means growth for the district and its surrounding communities when it opens in less than a year. Due to popular demand, @valleymetro extended their Small Business Financial Assistance Program (SBFAP) until the end of March to support eligible businesses in anticipation of eventual opening celebrations, which will occur at multiple points throughout the new line, including @CityScapePhx. \n\nValley Metro also teased key milestones to look forward to as the project reaches its conclusion.
