Access to safe and reliable multi-modal transportation options is vital to any great city.
Through advocacy, this Committee is devoted to developing present and future initiatives that boost multi-modal options in Greater Downtown Phoenix.

THE COMMITTEE
Through active discussion and engagement, the Committee develops action plans and recommendations that benefit the community as a whole. The Committee is devoted to the development of present and future initiatives that boost rail, bus, biking, walking, safe streets, and parking options affecting businesses and residents of Greater Downtown Phoenix.
For prospective Members, this Committee provides a voice for multi-modal and public transportation advocates, and the ability to take part in projects shaping transit policy.
CURRENT INITIATIVES
Continue to look for alternative parking solutions, including promoting park-and-ride and district parking strategies.
Help City staff update the Downtown Transportation Plan, understand the progress, and review the needed areas of improvement.
Develop the next steps for advocating for Prop 400 and protecting and enhancing the regional transportation system.
Provide recommendations for areas of improvement that can benefit from Federal Infrastructure act funding.
Advocate for permanent micromobility programs including bike-share, e-scooter, car share and more.
2023 PUBLIC POLICY AGENDA
Advocate for multi-modal transportation and pedestrian connection within Greater Downtown Phoenix with a focus on safety, reliability, equity, and inclusion.
Support advancement of the voter-approved City of Phoenix T2050 transportation plan elements that affect access to and circulation within Greater Downtown Phoenix.
Advocate for future support of ballot proposition/s to extend OUR MOMENTUM Plan funding for Maricopa County.
Support efforts to protect and enhance the expansion of pedestrian and bike access to natural resources near downtown, including the Rio Salado and South Mountain.
