City of Phoenix: She Matters Equity Forum

The Phoenix Women’s Commission and YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix are proud to organize the She Matters Equity Forum, an in-person event designed to address equity issues and promote wellness and empowerment for women in the workforce. Join us at this year’s event on Tuesday, May 21 | 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. located at South Mountain Community College, Performing Arts Center, 7050 S. 24th Street, Phoenix, Arizona, 85042 .
The in-person event will feature a hosted light breakfast, keynote speeches, panel discussions from industry experts, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities. This event is open to all members of the public, including all genders.
- Keynote Speaker – Mayor Kate Gallego will set the tone for women’s empowerment as the second elected female mayor in Phoenix history and one of the youngest big city mayors in the United States.
- Keynote Speaker – Carol A. Poore, Ph.D., MBA will present “Leadership in the Metaverse: Creating the Future of “WebWe” Through Strategy and Community Building.” Carol is a strategic planning expert who expands organizational capacity.
- Breakout Sessions – There will be six breakout sessions to choose from covering topics including leadership development, financial empowerment, diversity and inclusion, pay equity, mental health, and community engagement.
