Bentley Gallery: Jake Fischer's INTERPERMEATE Opening

Bentley Gallery: Jake Fischer's INTERPERMEATE Opening

In Jake Fischer's paintings, the word interpermeate represents the idea that light and dark are equally and mutually pervasive in defining space just as the physical environment and our mental processes are equally and mutually pervasive in defining experience. Fischer paints on handmade wooden panels that he crafts using a Japanese hand-saw, and his work is conceptually driven by ideas of awareness, cognizance, thought, and engagement.

We are pleased to host Jake Fischer's latest series of paintings in INTERPERMEATE. See the catalog here, and join us for the artist-attended opening, Saturday, May 20, from 1-3 p.m.
