Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels is a pediatric nonprofit providing the here and now needs for families that have a child battling cancer or a life-threatening illness. We offer 4 programs: financial assistance, which provides our families with gas cards, grocery cards and rent assistance, comfort and care counseling, which is free counseling for the entire family, major distractions are events inside and outside of the hospitals, and comfycozy's for chemo. All of our programs were created to fill the gaps that our founder and CEO, Lorraine Tallman, discovered when her daughter was battling cancer. Amanda Hope's dream was to create clothing that would allow other children to fight the disease with dignity, Lorraine created the comfycozy's for chemo. Throughout the years we have grown to help over 1,000 children every year.
