Huss Brewing Co. is a local, family-owned brewery founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife team Jeff and Leah Huss, who bring 35 years of combined brewing experience. Jeff, a Siebel and Doemens Academy-trained brewmaster and former Head Brewer at BJ’s in Chandler, leads brewing operations, while Leah, co-founder of the pioneering Papago Brewing, runs the business and marketing side. Starting with a 30-barrel system and a small Tempe taproom, Huss Brewing has grown to become Arizona’s 3rd largest brewery. Today, they operate both the original Tempe Taproom and a Downtown Phoenix Brewpub offering a wide range of fresh, local beers and chef-inspired Modern American fare. The Phoenix location also features a Quick Service TO GO Counter with smashed burgers, local sausages, and more for guests headed to nearby events.
